Every year the residents of the Dickens (my house in Toronto where all my friends live) get together to shoot a themed family portrait. This year we chose to recreate Rembrandt’s ”The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp.” The goal was to get the photo to be as close to the original as possible. I think we may have outdone ourselves this year! you be the judge…. The final print was exactly half the size of the original piece (which originally measure 85.2 in × 66.7 in) and now hangs in the Dicken’s living room framed in a ornate golden frame!
