This pic was taken the weekend that Savannah came to visit NYC before she made her official move here in the fall. She is officially a part of Britt’s Moksha NYC community, as the studio’s resident Massage therapist! Congrats and welcome to NYC!

Hanna lives in my building in Bushwick. This summer I just got my SLR 4×5 Camera and was on our roof shooting tests and Hanna was hanging with her parents enjoying the sunset. Here’s a quick portrait I shot.

Before the holidays, I had a little 4×5 portrait shoot with my friend and actress Katie Boland. We had a great time hanging out and shooting. I ended up including  her in my Pulp Fiction Series which can be seen here. Here are the other portraits I shot with the old Graflex. I had been studying a lot of historical photos and old Baroque  portraits (paintings) at the time and was trying to experiment with the sense of stillness achieved and depicted in these type of historical portraits. enjoy!

When my girlfriend, Britt and I drove across the states to New Orleans, we stayed in an amazing Bed and Breakfast  called Ashton’s. The beautiful mansion is located near Treme and is owned/operated by the wonderful Patrick Ashton and his wive. Every morning Patrick would greet us with his joyous energy while cooking up the best breakfasts ever! If you are ever in New Orleans, this is the place to stay!! Here’s a portrait I shot with the 4×5 the morning we left New Orleans.

Here’s a shot from a shoot I had with my friend Carey Wass. He is the host of the talk show Late Night in the Bedroom. We thought it would be fun to give him a more classic talk show host look. We shot this on the trusty 4×5. enjoy!

This past Sunday, I had a chance to have a very short but sweet shoot with Interscope Record’s next Hip Hop star, Yelawolf . He was is town for a show with Wiz Khalifa. He had just finished a two and half hour media/fan meet and greet before I had a chance to shoot with him. Since, I knew I wouldn’t have a lot of time to shoot with him, I showed up extra early to figure out where the best place was to set-up. He was a real chill guy and even though it was a short shoot, we got along well and I was able to get a few shots out of it that I really like.
